Does Williams/Daniels really own what he says?

A Welsh drug dealer and conman exposed exclusively by The Eye who had his legs broken after a deal soured and who sent abusive messages to our Editor, his friends as well as his family, now boasts of owning a boat, a jet ski, and driving expensive cars, on his new property website, and claims to have turned £56 into £1,000 in “24 hours”, yet some have questioned how much of this is true, it has emerged.

Williams/Daniels is well known to the authorities

Howard Williams changed his name to James Daniels, moved to Spain, after spending years in jail on deception charges, but he claims to have owned almost every model of Mercedes in the past.

Williams/Daniels says on his new website that he was born in mid-Wales and has always worked in the property industry, adding:  “I have other passions, not just property, I enjoy driving nice cars Mercedes are my go-to favorites I think I’ve had every model at some point in my life, I own a jetski and small boat which is kept at a local marina so I get to enjoy many an hour on the sea, the jetski is great fun, I find a few hours out at sea calms and relaxes me.”

Is it now for sale?

But others that Williams/Daniels have tricked out of thousands of pounds say this is not the truth.

One told The Eye:  “This is all made up.

“He lives in a complete fantasy world!”.

Another said:  “A ‘Ski Yoghurt’ and a ‘boot’ more like!”.

Even if part of this is true it appears Williams/Daniels may be trying to sell the jet ski.

The rider’s face has been scratched out on the photograph which advertises it.

Williams/Daniels ‘sold’ or ‘rented out’ luxury villas but disappeared with the deposits

In another, TWO jet skis are for sale with a picture of Williams/Daniels and his wife Lisa on the back of one of them with smiley faces obscuring their features.

Williams/Daniels appears to go from strength to strength despite his criminal record and past drug dealing.

On his LinkedIn page he claims to have been a manager with something called Property Investment Partners and previously Mortgage Savers after studying at the University of Murcia.

Following earlier stories about him on The Eye, this comment was posted on our website: “Having become a ‘Partner’ in a new Italian Restaurant called Blanco on the Mar Menor Boulevard, Los Alcazares, Williams/Daniels is now pressing ahead with the publicity and promotion aspects – which seem somewhat unusual for a new Restaurant to open at the end of the summer, when visitor numbers are rapidly decreasing, as schools (both British and Spanish) start to re-open”.

In the past deceiving people has become something of an art form for former convict Williams/Daniels, and it is difficult to know where the truth lies.

Over 10 years his jail sentences have totalled four years four months, involving 25 counts of deception, and he has been made bankrupt three times.

How much is true?

On one property website, the anger of an individual is clear:  “He (Williams/Daniels) makes you pay circa £10k deposit and then disappears into the sunset”.

At a property event in the South of England The Eye were told that an investor had lost £30,000 with Williams/Daniels.

Williams/Daniels claims he turned £56 into £1,000 in 24 hours

He has ‘knocked’ many people by not paying his bills, and we have spoken to some who are owed thousands of pounds by him.

In a YouTube video where he is interviewed about his ‘property skills’ Williams/Howards claims he had a “massive” estate agency business, but went from earning £20,000 a week to having just £56 in his pocket and living on the streets.

He tells his audience he had turned that £56 into £1,000 in just “24 hours”.

But The Eye have reported that his own father, Bill, described his son as a “complete crook”, how he was called by the police to Clifton suspension bridge where Williams/Daniels was threatening to commit suicide, and how he spent part of a Christmas day outside the walls of Cardiff jail to be near his son inside.

A drug dealer and conman exposed by The Eye talks about his property ‘expertise’ on YouTube

Bill Williams, who ran a sofa business in South Wales, believes his son stole about £250,000 from him in cash and stock.

Williams/Daniels also said he performed at expensive property ‘seminars’ in upmarket hotels or golf clubs around South Wales where customers were duped once again.

For £299 potential clients were tempted with a “Special Offer February Deal – Sourcing and rent to rent training weekend”.

The ‘offer’ was removed from Williams/Daniels’ Facebook site, where he was known as ‘The Shoes’, soon afterwards, and when The Eye contacted the golf club, officials had no record of it taking place.

Sam McManus/Georgeson – another victim of Williams/Daniels’ ‘greed’

Williams/Daniels’ former business partner, Sam McManus (also known as ‘Georgeson’), has admitted to us he was fooled by him and that he was a ‘sick man’.

Mr McManus explained to us how he was conned along with everyone else.

He told The Eye:  He (Williams/Daniels) has fooled many people and I can only be grateful that there are good investigative journalists like you guys who expose greedy people like him.

“It is embarrassing to admit that I am yet another victim of his greed”.

When the dancing had to stop at Williams/Daniels’ disco in Spain

Williams/Daniels was also in charge of evenings at the ‘Discoteca CopyRight Roldan’ in Spain, but new adverts for it were removed after our earlier reports about him on The Eye.

The discotheque’s Facebook page has not had a post since February 20 at 7.41am – just after we published disclosures about the man who ran it.

In the past Williams/Daniels has asked a specialist company how to ‘get rid of ‘our ‘negative’ stories about him on the internet.

A request for help to remove ‘negative reviews’

He wrote:  When I google James daniels spain or James Daniels property or James Daniels murcia a load of website links appear for the-eye.wales which are negative reviews and not true (The Eye – nothing is untrue). How do I get rid of these an(d) how much does it cost? Also how long does it take?”.

Williams/Daniels worked with a man jailed after growing cannabis

Apart from having his legs broken when an illegal drugs deal went wrong, we have also disclosed how formerly Williams/Daniels has teamed up with another ex-criminal from South Wales, who had been put behind bars for drug offences, to start a ‘charity’.

He launched the ‘Crisis Housing Charity’ and asked for donations from the public in a venture designed ostensibly to help ex-convicts find homes.

The Editor, Phil Parry as well as his family and friends faced abuse from Williams/Daniels

The ‘charity’ gave an address in Cardiff but does not now exist.

Our Editor Phil Parry as well as his friends, wife and children, have been subjected to a torrent of abuse on social media from Williams/Daniels and his supporters, following our revelations.

In one tirade he wrote:  “You write total lies about people, bully to the point of harassment and suicide, and will not answer a direct email (The Eye has had none from a Howard Williams or James Daniels)? This is not journalism this is a mixture of Phil Parry (The ex journalist) and (others) you are pure scum!!!!! Let it be publicly known that The Eye does NOT care about people it just lies to make fictitious stories up. BULLYING, LIES, MENTAL HEALTH ABUSE TO NAME BUT A FEW!!!!!”.

Howard Williams/James Daniels – a crook’s life exposed

In another he said: I am have contacted you (sic) numerous times before asking why you consistently, stalk, bully and harass me? … You so far have asked the following for comments (The Eye have never asked for comments):
Thief
Abuser (The Eye have never said Williams/Daniels is an abuser).
Liar
Sex Offender (The Eye have never said Williams/Daniels is a sex offender).
Drug user (The Eye have never said Williams/Daniels is a drug-user, just that he has dealt in illegal drugs).

Williams/Daniels is used to Cardiff jail

Lisa Williams has also bombarded The Eye and our Editor Phil Parry, with insulting messages on Facebook.

Among them was this response to a picture of Mr Parry:  The face of a real life bully… don’t you look so proud too awww”.

Williams/Daniels has accused The Eye and Mr Parry, of ‘bullying’ ‘stalking’ and ‘harassing’ a man with a mental illness, yet it is others who deserve sympathy.

Questions raised about Cardiff Airport’s controversial ‘tie-up’

Attention shouid be focused on those whose lives have been ruined by the drug dealing of Williams/Daniels, and the many who have been tricked into giving him money for it never to be seen again.

These are the real victims.

Tomorrow – more disturbing revelations about why a controversial tie-up between Cardiff Airport and a state accused of supporting terrorism is under fire.
